We are currently looking for volunteer Research Assistants to help with the various tasks in the research lab. Typical duties include reviewing medical records for participant eligibility, conducting phone screens with potential participants, data entry, administering measures and procedures at study visits and assistance with administrative tasks. 

This position provides an opportunity to obtain practical research experience, learn about substance use disorders and common co-occurring conditions, and become comfortable in a psychiatric/psychological/medical setting. There is also opportunity for learning more about neuroimaging and various computation processes and approaches. This is an invaluable opportunity for those interested in applying to graduate programs for psychology, medical school, public health, and neuroscience.

REQUIREMENTS

Highly motivated, responsible people who have the ability to commit 8 hours per week for at least 1 year. Previous research experience preferred, but not required. Please identify if you have previous experience administering psychological/cognitive measures or computational/programming experience in R, MATLAB, Python, Presentation, html, FreeSurfer, SPM, or other related programs.
